Do you have openings?
Yes, we are currently enrolling full and part time placements for children 2½ – 12 years of age. We also assist parents by taking "drop-ins", always call first please.
Are you a Christian daycare?
Our administration and staff live our lives with Christian morals and values. As a result, you will not hear a staff member using vulgar language or smoking on the grounds. It is important to us that we set a positive example for your children. We say grace with the children before meals and strive to instill core beliefs that include respect, gratefulness, self–control and forgiveness. We are not tied to any single denomination.
Are you licensed?
Yes, GCLC is a licensed day care facility. We are licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services to provide out of home care to children. As a licensed center, we follow state standards for personnel, health requirements, staff training, supervision, physical environment, program and services, and emergencies.

Yes, our staff is certified in CPR and first aid.
What is the ratio of children to staff?

2½ – 3 years 1:8
3 years – 4 years 1:10
4 years – 7 years 1:12
What is your discipline policy?
GCLC fosters a loving and caring atmosphere. We do not use time–out as a form of behavioral control. We teach and encourage peaceful conflict resolution between children, guiding them to employ listening, reasoning and rationalizing skills in solving their problems.
